House Financial Services Committee to Hold Hearing on Fintech Partnerships

The Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy, part of the House Financial Services Committee, has scheduled a hearing entitled Financial Institution-Fintech Partnerships: Leveraging Third-Party Relationships to Increase Access to Financial Services.

This specific hearing is a “field hearing” and will take place outside of Washington, DC, in Lexington, Kentucky.

Specifics on the hearing are not yet available, but the collaboration between firms providing technology to enhance traditional financial services has become commonplace within the banking industry.

The hearing, which will take place on July 12 at 10 AM, will be live-streamed on the Committee website.
