Liberis, Sezzle Announce Partnership on SME Funding

Liberis and Sezzle are collaborating on enabling access to financing for smaller firms.

Liberis is a an embedded finance that aims to provide “hyper-personalized” access to capital.

Sezzle is a BNPL or Buy Now Pay Later provider. Sezzle will now promote he LIberis service to its SME users in the United States. Sezzle Capital is expected to provide flexible funding to SMEs with a forthcoming launch in Canada in the future.

Rob Straathof, CEO of Liberis, said that working with Sezzle will allow them to serve both early stage and mature firms.

The CEO of Sezzle Charlie Youakim, added they are pleased to be able access to capital with the need of a firm to hand over equity in their business.

Liberis reports that it has provided over $1 billion of funding in over 70,000 transactions. Liberis is a revenue-based finance based on receivables.
