Online lender Biz2X says it has partnered with Watermelon Ecosystem. The platform provides services for restaurateurs and other F&B entrepreneurs in the MENA region.
Biz2X will power business financing for businesses that use the Watermelon platform. Merchants selling inventory and other goods or services on the Watermelon Ecosystem will be able to finance their invoices, to speed up capital movement.
Rohit Arora, CEO of Biz2X, a subsidiary of Biz2Credit based in New York, says embedded finance is the future for SMEs and their platform will provide timely access to capital with less friction than traditional methods. Owners will not longer have to wait until they have cash in hand to fund their business.

Watermelon Ecosystem was founded in 2020 and is a B2B marketplace that connects buyers with sellers across the F&B supply chain.
