Global Payments Fintech Klarna Teams Up with TickPick

Klarna, the AI-powered global payments network and shopping assistant, and TickPick, the modern transparent ticket marketplace transforming the event ticketing industry, announced their partnership to enhance the ticket buying experience for all TickPick customers.

TickPick, known for its no service fee policy, best price guarantee, and upfront pricing, ensures that fans can “purchase tickets without hidden costs.”

This commitment to transparency aligns with Klarna’s flexible payment options, providing consumers with both “affordability and control over how they pay for their tickets.”

With the live events industry projected to “reach $1.2 trillion by 2032, demand is on the rise.”

Now, Tickpick customers can take advantage of Klarna’s smooth payment options, offering the flexibility to pay for tickets “instantly in full, within 30 days, split the cost into four interest-free installments, or extend payments over 6 to 24 months.”

Erin Jaeger, Head of North America at Klarna said that with Klarna’s flexible payment options, fans can enjoy the events they love “while managing their finances responsibly and without interest.”

TickPick’s Matt Ferrel said that as they continue to build on their commitment to offering fans the best prices on tickets, partnering with Klarna will now give users “more control over how they pay for their tickets.”

Matt added that when it comes to offering interest-free, flexible payment options, Klarna is a key industry provider.

With some of the biggest concert tours and sporting events of the year still ahead, they are pleased “to introduce this feature to our fans.”

TickPick joins Klarna’s growing network of 600,000 merchants, alongside 85 million+ consumers globally.

As reported recently, Klarna has also partnered with Blackhawk Network (BHN), a branded payments provider, to launch Klarna’s Gift Card Store in the United Kingdom.

This gives customers the option to acquire gift cards from a selection of brands and pay for them using Klarna’s Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) products and instant debit option, Pay Now.

Within the Klarna app, UK shoppers will be able to buy gift cards from a range of merchants, “including Airbnb, Argos, Fortnite, adidas, IKEA, Playstation, Deliveroo, H&M, Wagamama, Currys and Uber with more being added every week.”

This notably marks Klarna’s first move into the £7 billion UK gift card market, which is predicted to rise to “nearly £9 billion in 2025, according to the Gift Card & Voucher Association.”
