Global Fintech Adyen and Doctolib to Streamline Consultation Payments

Adyen (ADYEN:AMS), the financial tech platform for businesses, and Doctolib, the European firm focused on digital healthcare services, are joining forces to offer medical professionals secure financial services.

The partnership, which was launched in France and Italy, allows Doctolib to offer its users online payment solutions, as well as “broader financial services to simplify their daily lives” and consolidate business and financial management.

This collab is reportedly a key part of Doctolib’s long-term goal to enhance data protection and support for its user base.

Doctolib offers an online payment solution for teleconsultations, but wants to be able to offer broader financial services “to medical professionals in the future.”

Adyen’s banking license should enable Doctolib’s users to take advantage of a modular suite of embedded financial products with “speed, control and flexibility.”

Users will now be able to significantly reduce the time spent on administrative tasks that are prevalent in the healthcare industry, “freeing up precious time to devote to providing medical care to patients.”

Users of Doctolib’s clinical and financial software benefit from online payment solutions “for teleconsultations and physical consultations.”

Patients, meanwhile, are able to register their preferred payment methods in the Doctolib application, and “pay for their consultations or those of their loved ones without worrying about whether they’ll have cash or a bank card with them when they pay for their in-office consultation.”

Adyen has established itself as the ideal partner for Doctolib to support this transformation.

The global player, and specialist in local regulations, guarantees full RGPD compliance and data integrity, thanks to datacenters “based exclusively in Europe.”

This approach reportedly meets Doctolib’s data protection requirements.

Jean Urbain Hubau, Managing Director France at Doctolib said that this collaboration with Adyen is part of their “ongoing drive to simplify administrative procedures for caregivers as much as possible, so that they can concentrate on what’s essential: looking after their patients.” They added that in the future, it should enable them to “develop other financial services that meet their needs, with the highest standards of data protection,”

The collab between Doctolib and Adyen is up and running in France and Italy.

Doctolib now intends to further extend it to “other European countries, notably Germany.”

This European partnership will offer financial solutions to medical professionals, who will be able to “manage their consultations more efficiently.”

As covered, Adyen is the financial tech platform for large firms.

By providing “end-to-end” payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products in a single globally-accessible solution, Adyen helps businesses achieve their objectives quicker.

With offices around the world, Adyen reportedly works with Meta, Uber, H&M, eBay, and Microsoft.
