Thoughtworks, a tech consultancy that integrates strategy, design and engineering, announced it has signed a collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help enterprises across Asia Pacific develop generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) solutions that “drive operational efficiencies.”
This will help Thoughtworks’ clients in industries across automotive, energy, financial services, and healthcare “harness and launch GenAI solutions to improve customer engagement and grow revenue.”
Thoughtworks, an AWS Consulting Partner, is helping customers take GenAI-powered ideas from proofs of concept to “scalable solutions that drive rapid results.”
One such customer is PEXA Group, an ASX-listed digital property exchange platform and property insights solutions business “operating in Australia and, more recently, in the United Kingdom.”
Thoughtworks helped co-create PEXA Group’s GenAI Assistant on Amazon Bedrock, which taps into internal knowledge sources like “training manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to synthesize, personalize and contextualize information, to reduce response times on property information queries from one minute to just five seconds for increased employee productivity.”
Eglantine Etiemble, PEXA Group Chief Technology Officer said:
“PEXA’s bold GenAI ambition was made possible by bringing together the best of what the tech industry has to offer, with Thoughtworks’ deep industry expertise and AWS’s cutting-edge technology.”
Through the SCA, Thoughtworks and AWS will collaborate to drive adoption of GenAI by:
- Gaining access to Thoughtworks Haiven team assistant: An AI-enabled knowledge amplifier innovated by Thoughtworks, Haiven helps clients accelerate GenAI adoption across the software delivery lifecycle. When connected to models on Amazon Bedrock, Haiven helps clients break down complex projects into manageable units while building GenAI solutions.
- Providing access to a skilled team of AI experts: Thoughtworks has trained more than 70 employees on the latest AWS GenAI services, including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q, with plans to train at least 200 more in the coming year to further support customer adoption of GenAI.
- Unlocking the global reach with AWS: Thoughtworks intends to deepen its footprint into countries in Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam to better serve customers across the region with the latest AI services.
- Making Thoughtworks AI offerings available in AWS Marketplace: Clients will be able to find Thoughtworks AI solutions in the AWS Marketplace, a curated digital catalog where clients can find, buy, deploy and manage third-party software, data and services designed to run on AWS infrastructure.
Andy Nolan, head of emerging technologies for Thoughtworks in Asia Pacific said:
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey to help clients unlock the full potential of AI and shape the future of their industries.”
Corrie Briscoe, Director of Partner Sales, Asia Pacific Japan, AWS said:
“By leveraging AWS’s latest cloud-enabled technologies, including GenAI, AWS is able to help joint customers across diverse industries, including PEXA Group, design, build, and critically, deliver GenAI solutions with ease and at scale.”
