Webull Securities (Canada) says it has launched options trading for registered accounts in Canada. Webull users can now trade options in Tax-Free Savings Accounts (TFSAs) and Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs).
The Webull Group currently operates in 15 regions globally, including Canada, serving over 20 million registered users globally. Webull offers stocks, ETFs, and now options. No crypto trading is available on the Canadian version.
Webull Canada CEO Michael Constantino says since launching options in September they have experienced “growing demand” for TFSA and RRSP accounts. Constantino said they take pride in adapting products to market demand.
Webull Corporation is owned and operated in the Cayman Islands with global headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. Webull has garnered scrutiny in the US due to claims of affiliation with Chinese officials. Webull is controlled by China-based holding company Hunan Fumi Information Technology.
