Cactus Custody Reportedly Achieves SOC 1 Type 1 Attestation with Deloitte

Cactus Custody announces the completion of its SOC 1 Type 1 attestation, underscoring its focus on maintaining operational standards, accurate financial reporting, as well as digital asset security.

This latest milestone for Cactus Custody reflects their ongoing commitment to providing secure, reliable custody solutions that are specfically “tailored to institutional clients.”

An independent auditor is said to have “thoroughly reviewed their internal controls, covering customer account setup, fiat and digital asset transactions, and internal system operations.”

The audit validated their robust processes, including the following: settlement, reconciliation, account management, fee handling, asset valuation, reporting, and key lifecycle management across all storage types.

The SOC 1 Type 1 attestation confirms their ability “to safeguard client assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.”

This latest attestation aims to strengthen Cactus Custody’s position “as a trusted partner in digital asset management.”

It reportedly demonstrates their ongoing commitment “to robust governance frameworks and robust security measures for institutional clients.”

SOC 1 is said to be a benchmark for operational and control effectiveness across industries, and “achieving it reflects their high standards.”

They claim to remain committed to continuous evaluation and will pursue the SOC 1 Type 2 report in order to “validate their controls’ sustained reliability and effectiveness.”

Independent reviews ensure they are able to “consistently deliver the highest standards, instilling confidence in an ever-evolving digital asset landscape.”

As stated in a blog post from the company, Cactus Custody also holds a SOC 2 Type 1 attestation conducted by Deloitte.

As noted in the update, Cactus Custody is a key player focused on institutional digital asset custody.

ISO-certified and licensed in Hong Kong with a provisional MAS exemption, they reportedly meet capital reserve standards and “adhere to strict AML and counter-terrorism financing regulations.”

They aim to simplify digital asset management with confidence and expertise, guided by their  core mission: safeguarding clients’ digital assets “with the principle of ‘Security First, Integrity Always.’”
