Crypto Exchange HTX says it has topped 50 million users on its platform. Formerly doing business as Huobi, HTX has approval to operate in several different jurisdictions, according to their website, including:
Lithuania: Digital wallet and virtual currency exchange operator
- Dubai: Initial approval of a Full Market Product (PMP) license by VARA
- BVI: SIBA investment business license including custody and operation of investment exchange
- South America: payment and remittance services (specific countries not listed)
- Australia: AUSTRC Digital currency exchange provider registration
HTX does not provide services in the United States.
HTX reports 105% month-over-month growth as it seeks to expand in other markets.
According to CoinmarketCap, HTX is a top twenty digital asset exchange with weekly visits numbering around 2.5 million and spot trading (in most recent 24 hours) of $2.4 billion. Over 700 different types of crypto are supported.
HTX is located in Seychelles but has offices in Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and the US.
