Sola Security Raises $30 Million Seed Round, Emerges from Stealth

AI-enhanced cybersecurity firm Sola Security has announced a $30 million seed round as it emerges from stealth mode.

The funding was led by S Capital, with other investors participating, including S32, Glilot Capital Partners, and individual angels.

Sola was Founded in 2024 by Guy Flechter, the former CEO & co-founder of Cider Security, which was acquired by Palo Alto Networks, and Ron Peled, the former Global CISO of LivePerson and strategic security consultant to startups. According to the company, the idea was formed because of the belief that cyber tools were expensive, siloed, and maintenance-prone. Frequently today, multiple products are in use by the customer. Beyond the cost, Sola says this led to security gaps and inefficiencies.

Sola is a self-serve platform powered by AI that aims to reduce cost and complexity in a no-code environment. The company explains that users can go to the Solo App Gallery and build customized security solutions without any development expertise.

Users can deploy ready-made security tools from the Sola App Gallery or build custom security solutions using Sola’s AI-powered no-code studio.

Flechter believes that Cybersecurity shouldn’t be this hard or expensive.

“We see ourselves as part of the self-serve revolution created by giants such as Canva, Stripe, and Figma, who changed the way we work in their domains. Security tools today are either too narrow to solve real problems or too bloated to be usable, and we knew there had to be a better way. Sola Security lets any team create and customize security solutions instantly, without the overhead, without the engineering burden, and without the ridiculous price tag.”

Investor Aya Peterburg, co-founder and Managing Partner at S Capital, believes that Sola is driving a needed shift in the cybersecurity industry by making security more accessible.

Sola has posted a waitlist for interested parties.
