Yiren Digital Ltd, an artificial intelligence (AI)‑powered platform providing financial and lifestyle services in China, said it formed a strategic joint venture with PT Pinjaman Kemakmuran Rakyat (klikUMKM) and PT Artha Digital Investama, part of the Artha Graha Network (AG Network), to deliver AI‑driven financial solutions across Indonesia.
The partnership combines Yiren Digital’s financial technology expertise with AG Network’s local market knowledge to develop digital solutions that address rising demand for accessible financial services and inclusive finance in Southeast Asia’s largest economy.
Yiren Digital will integrate its AI‑driven capabilities and proprietary technologies into the venture’s operations, deploying advanced risk management algorithms, automated customer service platforms and data‑driven marketing solutions to scale efficiently and deliver secure, customer‑centric services tailored to Indonesian consumers.
Indonesia’s digital finance sector has expanded rapidly. The venture will target underserved segments, including small and medium‑sized enterprises and unbanked populations, by offering AI‑enhanced lending, insurance and payment solutions.
AG Network will provide regulatory support and market insights, leveraging its established presence across finance, retail, agriculture, telecommunications and manufacturing to expedite approvals and ensure swift market entry.
The joint venture, expected to launch in the second half of 2025, aims to leverage AI to enhance credit financing, streamline compliance and improve financial inclusion for Indonesia’s 281 million population.
Beyond its initial focus, the partnership will explore broader technology collaborations to support AG Network’s digital transformation across its business portfolio.
“The partnership with AG Network marks a significant milestone in our international expansion strategy. It underscores our AI capabilities in credit financing and our ability to deploy these technologies at scale,” said Ning Tang, chairman and chief executive officer of Yiren Digital.
He added he was “confident this collaboration will drive innovation in Indonesia, fostering greater financial inclusion.”
