Morocco’s Regtech VOVE ID Reports New Funding to Support Business Expansion Efforts

Moroccan Regtech company VOVE ID has reportedly acquired new investment from The Baobab Network in order to support its ongoing growth efforts across the Middle East and wider MENA region.

The funding round (the actual amount not disclosed) marks a new milestone for the digital identity verification startup, which officially launched earlier in 2025 and now claims to have gained considerable traction with its secure, AI (artificial intellience)-enhanced Know Your Customer (KYC) platform.

Established in 2024 by Khalid Aoussar, Tarik, and Youssef—alumni of Timeless Investment GmbH, RemotPass, and Pipedrive respectively—VOVE ID is now focused on transforming / improving how companies verify identities in the estimated $18.6 billion international KYC ecosystem.

Its “verify once, use everywhere” approach reportedly enables clients to reuse a verified digital identity across several different platforms, thus simplifying onboarding while ensuring adequate regulatory compliance.

The platform currently supports widely-used features like biometric authentication and automated document checks, reportedly attracting clients across the MENA region and other jurisdictions.

The capital injection will aim to support VOVE ID’s regional expansion efforts, platform development, as well as team growth.

As part of The Baobab Network’s accelerator program, VOVE ID will also gain mentorship along with access to a wider ecosystem in order to navigate regulatory requirements and scale in a sustainable manner.

VOVE ID’s primary mission is to democratize access to enterprise-grade KYC tools for startups as well as SMEs that are often excluded from traditional solutions.

With the modular integration, pay-as-you-go pricing, and a seamless user interface, the firm enables smaller businesses to implement appropriate verification systems without giving up on overall quality or robust compliance.

Co-founder and CEO, Aoussar remarked:

“Having The Baobab Network on board is a game-changer. We’re building a future where verifying your identity is seamless, secure, and accessible—regardless of business size or geography.”

With the new capital injection and growing momentum for its products, VOVE ID is positioning itself as a key player in the fast-evolving digital identity infrastructure ecosystem for emerging markets.
