Alpaca Integrates Kraken Embed to Expand Crypto Access for Partner Network

Kraken and Alpaca have partnered to expand crypto trading access through a single integration. Alpaca — a U.S.-based brokerage infrastructure platform with more than 200 enterprise partners and over five million end user accounts — has “integrated Kraken Embed to enhance Alpaca’s existing crypto capabilities across 49 U.S. states (with plans to expand into Canada, the EU and the U.K.).”

Enabling scalable crypto access for fintech infrastructure platforms
Alpaca provides modern investing infrastructure “for fintechs, trading apps and financial services platforms.”

As demand for crypto grows across its ecosystem, Alpaca prioritized a solution that could scale with its partners, “maintain regulatory standards, and reduce operational complexity.”

By integrating Kraken Embed, Alpaca expanded its crypto infrastructure with a “fully managed backend into its Broker API.”

This enables Alpaca’s B2B clients to seamlessly “integrate crypto access into their own products, using the existing Alpaca infrastructure they already rely on.”

Purpose-built for financial infrastructure platforms and SaaS providers
Kraken Embed supports a wide “range of fintech use cases, including for platforms like Alpaca that serve hundreds of downstream clients.”

This model allows SaaS infrastructure providers to “expand their offering to include crypto without needing separate integrations.”

Kraken Embed’s low-latency API ensures Alpaca and its clients “can scale crypto access with minimal friction.”

Why infrastructure platforms choose Kraken Embed

  • Speed to market: Enables regulated crypto access in weeks, not months
  • Compliance-first: Built to meet global regulatory standards, including U.S., EU, U.K. and Canada
  • Developer-ready: Includes modular APIs designed for fast integration
  • Built for scale: Supports multiple B2B clients through a single integration
  • High-performance backend: Provides reliable execution and deep liquidity

Kraken has built one of the world’s most “secure, regulated crypto platforms.”

With Kraken Embed, that infrastructure is now “accessible to institutions and platforms building the next generation of financial products.”

The integration with Alpaca marks a major milestone for Kraken Embed, demonstrating “how infrastructure providers can scale regulated crypto access across broad partner networks.”

Kraken Embed reportedly delivers the compliance, flexibility and speed “required to power crypto trading in today’s global financial ecosystem.”
