Crypto marketplace Kraken has launched a new app for its users, aptly called “Krak.” The “global money app” aims to allow users to instantly transact at almost no cost without borders.
Kraken states that the App allows users to manage more than 300 different fiat and digital assets.
Arjun Sethi, Kraken’s co-CEO, said they launched the App as they believe the financial system is stuck in the past. He called Krak “a bold step toward rebuilding what we consider to be the most important layer of the global economy: How people move and use money.”
Krak allows for peer-to-peer payments and transfers for users in 110 different countries.
Going forward, Kraken expects to launch physical and virtual Krak cards, a range of credit and loan services, and more.
The Krak app is available to download on Android at the Google Play Store or on iOS at the Apple App Store.
