IsraJets Takes Off with Fintech Airwallex to Enhance International Payments for Private Aviation Services

IsraJets, a boutique private aviation company operating in the United States, Israel and Cyprus, has partnered with Airwallex, a global payments and financial platform for growing businesses.

Through the partnership, IsraJets has adopted Airwallex’s financial infrastructure to “improve the speed and efficiency of its global payment operations.”

Airwallex now enables IsraJets to accept passenger payments via multicurrency “virtual IBANs in over 16 countries or credit cards, and to process vendor and employee payouts efficiently from a single platform.”

The result is a faster, more flexible, and “cost-effective financial operation that aligns with the pace and complexity of private aviation.”

With 24/7 access to a global fleet of private jets, IsraJets provides “white-glove charter and management services to business executives, high-net-worth individuals, and VIP travelers.”

The company specialises in managing “complex, cross-border travel logistics – often involving time-critical decisions and payments made across multiple time zones and currencies.”

Traditional banking systems, with their “high fees and weekend delays, were no longer compatible with IsraJets’ operational needs.”

Shay Ben Zimra, COO of IsraJets said:

“Our business depends on speed, especially when flights are confirmed within minutes. Airwallex gives us the ability to collect and move funds quickly, without the delays and fees we previously experienced with traditional banking. It helped us operate more smoothly across borders and time zones, and I’ve literally won deals thanks to Airwallex’s global payments tools.”

Since implementing Airwallex, IsraJets has seen “a significant reduction in transaction costs and currency conversion fees.”

The team also reports substantial time savings “due to fewer manual processes and easier reconciliation.”

The intuitive user interface and “responsive onboarding experience allowed the company to integrate the platform without the need for technical staff.”

Beyond immediate efficiency gains, IsraJets plans to “deepen the partnership by integrating Airwallex’s API capabilities to support its next phase of growth in Europe and the Gulf.”

The move will enable greater “automation, real-time financial control, and scalability as the company expands its offerings to include end-to-end luxury travel services.”

Or Liban, VP, Middle East and EU Enterprise at Airwallex:

“IsraJets needed a financial solution that reflects the urgency and complexity of their industry. Our platform is purpose-built for fast-moving sectors like travel, with a wide range of capabilities – from collecting credit card payments to issuing multi-currency virtual cards and paying vendors via bank transfers or payouts. We’re proud to support IsraJets’ international expansion and to help them scale seamlessly with modern financial infrastructure.”

As demand for private travel continues to rise, particularly in dynamic regions like Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, IsraJets is “doubling down on delivering bespoke aviation solutions without compromising on discretion, flexibility, or service quality.”

By combining infrastructure with software and AI, Airwallex seeks to improve how businesses “manage accounts, access capital, control spend, and embed financial services.”

Founded in Melbourne, Airwallex reports doing business with over 150,000 firms worldwide—including TikTok, Rippling, Navan, Qantas, and SHEIN.
