Singapore-based multi-family office Kamet Capital has completed an $8.4 million Series A investment in artificial intelligence avatar platform TopView.ai, valuing the startup at approximately $30.7 million.
The investment represents Kamet’s exclusive backing of the AI-powered content creation platform, which develops technology enabling brands to produce e-commerce content using digital human avatars, the firm said in a statement.
TopView, launched in Singapore in 2024, uses proprietary AI technology to create what it describes as lifelike digital presenters that can interact with products on screen.
The platform allows businesses to generate video content and product photos without traditional filming, editing, or human presenters.
The company’s latest Product Avatar and Product AnyShoot version 2.0 solutions can generate content from a single product image, creating AI avatars designed to mimic real-life presenters demonstrating products for e-commerce, livestreaming and social media marketing.
TopView has reported over 50 percent month-over-month growth in recurring revenue since releasing its V2.0 platform, with clients including L’Oréal, ANTA, and Anker among its enterprise customer base.
Beyond the funding, Kamet Capital provided early-stage incubation support to TopView, including office space and assistance establishing its Singapore headquarters.
The firm also facilitated business development across Southeast Asia and connected the startup to its network of family offices and entrepreneurs.
TopView co-founder and CEO Jensen Wu said the technology aims to transform digital commerce by creating interactive product experiences, with Kamet’s backing accelerating the company’s global expansion plans while maintaining its Singapore base.
Kamet Capital founder and CEO Kerry Goh described TopView as representing both a significant AI investment opportunity from Asia and an example of leveraging the firm’s founder network to identify and scale emerging companies in high-growth sectors.
The investment comes as AI avatar technology gains traction in digital marketing, with Singapore positioning itself as a hub for next-generation commerce technologies.
