Accenture Announces Acquisition of Decho to Scale Palantir and Gen AI Capabilities

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has recently acquired Decho, a UK-based tech and AI consultancy that helps organizations reinvent through the design, delivery and scaling of Palantir solutions. The acquisition reportedly aims to enhance Accenture’s strategic advisory and advanced engineering capabilities for Palantir solutions for clients across health, government, defense and commercial sectors in the United Kingdom and other regions.

Decho is a Palantir alliance partner focused on helping organizations move AI projects from “concept to production, rapidly and with sustainable value from the outset.”

It has expertise in platform deployment, data model design, application engineering and capability development, along with training to equip teams with the skills for long-term adoption.

This move indicates Accenture’s commitment to enterprise transformation by leveraging Palantir software for scaling gen AI solutions.

Bryan Rich, global Data and AI lead for Health and Public Service at Accenture said Decho is positioned to provide capabilities required in demanding industries with their Palantir and gen AI expertise.

Their acquisition of Decho helps public and commercial sector clients gain data and AI advantage to meet their objectives.

Decho brings a team of specialist engineers with expertise across Palantir platforms, including its Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), and are to be integrated into Accenture’s Data and AI organization based in the United Kingdom.

By brining together Accenture’s data and AI capabilities with Decho’s expertise in deploying and operationalizing data as well as AI platforms using Palantir, the acquisition reportedly helps organizations “realize the full value of their architecture, data, software and AI.”

Anna Davies, co-founder and managing director at Decho said that by scaling our deep software understanding with Accenture’s data and AI capabilities, they can help organizations integrate gen AI.

The latest acquisition is said to align with Accenture’s goal of improving its service offerings in critical sectors and highlights the firm’s ongoing investment in data and AI capabilities to help clients address relatively complex industry challenges.
