CaixaBank Wealth Management has reached the milestone of 10,000 clients in its Advisory Desk (10,856 as of the end of August 2025), its specialized service that offers tailored solutions for direct investments in stocks, bonds, and ETFs. The figure increased by 25% during the past year, reinforcing the bank’s position as a “benchmark in expert advisory and high value-added personalized investment.”
As noted in the update from CaixaBank, the Advisory Desk was launched as a service in Spain, additional and complementary “to the support provided by Wealth Management managers, with the aim of offering personalized attention to clients who seek to operate in the market with the guidance of a specialist.”
The relationship reportedly ensures direct contact between the client and the Desk’s specialists to “operate and execute orders in real time, providing agility, proximity.”
In the Desk, the client decides how much capital to allocate to this service and in which “specialized portfolios they wish to be advised.”
As of the end of August this year, the service now reportedly manages “€3.2 billion, representing a 12% growth compared to the beginning of the year.”
Of this amount, 53% corresponds to the “independent advisory segment.”

The Advisory Desk has teams distributed across Spanish cities – Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza, Málaga, Bilbao, and Pamplona – and plans to “expand the service in Alicante, Burgos, and the Autonomous Community of Galicia.”
CaixaBank brings its specialists closer to each region, ensuring “support for Wealth Management managers and maximum proximity to the client.”
The service will close the 2025 financial year with 70 professionals, including a fixed income specialist (17 more managers compared to the end of 2024), all of whom have “an average of more than 15 years of experience in financial markets.”
The 10,000+ clients of the Advisory Desk benefit from personalized advisory services in which specialists “provide guidance and execute the recommended investment proposals.”
Then, afterwards, they are to carry out a more personalized follow-up on the recommendations made.
The investment proposals, recommendations, and advice from the specialists are said to be aligned “with the global investment strategy defined for the client’s aggregated wealth.”
Due to the high level of specialization of the team, clients gain deep insight into the main “attributes, strategies, and performance of the relevant players in the international market.”
The Advisory Desk offers “distinct service modalities” that are said to be tailored to each client:
First, advised portfolios for customers that are said to be seeking a medium- and long-term investment strategy, which is supported “by CaixaBank Asset Management and the Investment Strategy team of CaixaBank Wealth Management.”
This service allows for the construction of a personalized portfolio, with a selection of securities adapted to “the client’s profile, and periodic adjustments previously validated.”
The stated goal or aim is to provide structured management with strategic vision, “combining diversification, quality, and continuous monitoring.” The available portfolios include “Dividend Portfolio, Quality Growth, Thematic, Trends, Equity ETFs, and Fixed Income ETFs.”
Second, the guided advisory service, designed for clients who, without having a defined portfolio, wish to take advantage of “tactical opportunities in fixed income, equities, or ETFs offered by the markets, with agility and constant follow-up by specialized teams.”
Additionally, the Advisory Desk service is complemented “by the Client-Initiated Desk, which allows clients to operate without advisory support via telephone.”
CaixaBank’s private banking model is made up of a team of 1,100+ accredited specialized managers, with an “average of 15 years of experience, and with 75 exclusive private banking centers and 11 exclusive Global Wealth centers, ensuring that clients always receive close and personalized service.”
