Bitget has partnered with Visa and DCS to launch the Bitget Card across various markets in the Asia Pacific (APAC). Powered by Visa, the card will allow users to spend with crypto.
At first, the card will be digital-only, but a physical card is expected to arrive in a few months.
Bitgets states that payments are processed instantly, thus mitigating the typical friction associated with off-ramping or manual conversion.
Bitget claims that foreign exchange fees will be low.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, said the card operates quietly in the background, reflecting a shift where “crypto becomes infrastructure, not an interruption.”
Bitget is a crypto exchange that also offers tokenized securities, derivatives, and more as it aims to position itself as a “universal exchange.”
