Bitget Wallet Adds Tokenized Stocks with xStocks

Bitget Wallet says it has integrated xStocks, thus providing access to self-custodied tokenized equities and ETFs for its users.

According to a company release, over 130 tokenized assets are now available via the digital wallet. Bitget reports having over 300 assets, including stocks, crypto, commodities, and more, available for its 90 million users.

xStocks claims to have processed more than $30 billion in transaction volume for its tokenized shares.

Bitget touts that tokenized assets eliminate geographic and jurisdictional barriers for investors.

Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, says tokenized equities are more practical for people wanting global access to shares.

xStocks adds that its tokenized shares are 1-to-1 fully collateralized using Payward’s infrastructure, the company that operates Kraken. Bitget wallet is available in the US, but its centralized exchange is not.
