NewGenIVF Invests in Singapore AI Prediction Platform K25.ai

A Nasdaq-listed fertility services company is making a bet on one of the internet’s more speculative frontiers: AI-powered prediction markets.

NewGenIVF Group has made an initial $2 million strategic investment in K25.ai, a Singapore-based AI-native live streaming and watch-to-predict platform, as part of a Pre-A round that values the startup at $100 million.

NewGenIVF, listed on Nasdaq under the ticker NIVF, has an option to increase its investment to as much as $10 million.

The transaction also covers an exclusive Asia-Pacific agency partnership that covers Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and other APAC markets, except mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and restricted jurisdictions.

In a statement, K25.ai said it is building a platform that combines live streaming, creator-led content, and AI-assisted prediction markets, allowing users to watch and predict outcomes around sports, esports, entertainment, cultural events, and other real-time content.

The company said its co-founders, including Andy Cheung, will join NewGenIVF’s board as part of the partnership.

The transaction gives K25.ai strategic capital and access to NewGenIVF’s regional network, public-market platform, and capital markets visibility. The startup said it may evaluate public-market pathways over time, including a strategic transaction, reverse takeover, or other structure.

The deal comes as prediction markets are drawing renewed attention globally, helped by the rise of platforms that turn real-world events into tradable or game-like contracts.

But the sector also faces regulatory scrutiny, particularly where prediction products overlap with gambling, securities, derivatives or political betting rules.

That makes K25.ai’s geographic exclusions notable. The platform said it is not offered to U.S. persons or users in China, Hong Kong, Macau, and other restricted jurisdictions, and intends to operate in accordance with local laws in markets where it is available.

NewGenIVF Chairman and Chief Executive Siu Wing Fung Alfred said K25.ai sits at the intersection of AI and prediction markets, calling it “one of the most compelling strategic investments” the company has evaluated.

K25.ai co-founder Andy Cheung said the company is not trying to become another exchange or online gaming site, but a new information market layer combining AI-powered predictions and live streaming.
