President Donald Trump took to Truth Social today to demand the US Senate approve the CLARITY Act in honor of Senator Lindsey Graham.
Senator Graham died suddenly of a heart attack this past weekend. Once fierce opponents, the two became close friends and allies, frequently socializing and playing golf together. While not always agreeing 100% on certain issues, Graham was a staunch defender of the President, pursuing wins instead of division. He was remembered by colleagues as a passionate advocate for the issues he supported, frequently working across the aisle on legislation he believed was best for the country.
