Belgium: Keyrock Announces Tokenized Securities

Crypto investment firm Keyrock has announced the launch of Keyrock Securities, a subsidiary that supports tokenized securities and institutional derivatives. According to a release, Keyrock Securities is a dealer registered in the Cayman Islands via the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority under the Securities Investment Business Act (SIBA).

Keyrock was founded in Brussels in 2017 to pursue digital assets. The company reports that its 220-strong team combines onchain and offchain expertise. Beyond Belgium, Keyrock reports operations in the UK, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, the U.S., and the Cayman Islands.

The Cayman registration also allows Keyrock to buy, sell, and underwrite securities. This includes options, futures, swaps and more. All of these can be tokenized.

Kevin de Patoul, CEO of Keyrock, says the financial world runs on derivatives, and Keyrock Securities enables them to operate using tokenized assets under a single regulatory framework.

Keyrock states that after securing approval under the EU MiCA regime for its French entity in June 2026, Keyrock Securities Ltd. is the Group’s sixth entity operating within a formal regulatory framework. This follows Keyrock’s acquisition of BlockFills’ institutional trading and brokerage assets, which now operate under the Keyrock name.
