Singapore: iStudio Partners with Triple-A to Accept Crypto Payments

iStudio, an Apple Premium Reseller in Singapore, has recently partnered with Triple-A, a crypto payment gateway sanctioned by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to allow customers to make purchases using cryptocurrencies at selected iStudio stores.

The iStudio stores include those in Jurong Point, Tampines Mall, Paragon, NEX, and Changi Airport Terminal 3, according to the announcement.

iStudio seeks to enrich the customer shopping experience with Triple-A’s advanced crypto payment solutions. This initiative enables the reseller to cater to a broader audience, particularly the burgeoning community of tech enthusiasts who prefer cryptocurrencies as their payment mode, thereby expanding its consumer reach.

Crypto payments not only promise lower transaction fees but also mitigate the risk of chargeback fraud, making it a win-win for both iStudio and its customers.

Jeremy Lin, Head of Marketing of iStudio, asserted the need for a secure and stable crypto payment method and stated:

Triple-A’s instant conversion to fiat currency and next-day bank settlement shields iStudio from cryptocurrency price fluctuations and ensures a smooth payment experience for our customers, allowing them to conveniently use their preferred crypto wallets.

Eric Barbier, CEO of Triple-A, expressed his excitement over the partnership, emphasizing the ease and security it brings to Apple’s customer base, he said:

We are thrilled to empower iStudio by enabling crypto acceptance with absolute ease, helping them reach more customers, boost revenue, and streamline costs.

This strategic alliance signifies a remarkable step for both companies, showcasing adaptability and an understanding of evolving consumer preferences in payment methods. It aligns with the contemporary trend of integrating digital currency into mainstream retail, providing flexibility and varied options to consumers.

Triple-A, a global entity, is licensed not only by MAS but also holds licenses from Banque de France’s ACPR and is registered with the United States Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), enabling them to serve a myriad of businesses around the globe.

They specialize in providing businesses with the ability to leverage the benefits of the growing crypto market without exposure to volatility risk or the need to handle or convert digital currencies.

iStudio, since its inception in 2007, has been at the forefront of providing a unique Apple experience, being Singapore’s first and only Apple Premium Reseller to offer tax-free purchases for patrons departing from Singapore Changi Airport.

With its 22 stores spread across Singapore and its eCommerce platform, iStudio continues to reach wider audiences offering a list of exclusive online promotions and products.
