Digital Assets Firm Copper Partners with Radix, a Network Focused on Web3 and DeFi Apps

Copper, a firm focused on digital asset custody, collateral management and prime services has partnered with Radix, a decentralized network that aims to provide a radically better user and developer experience for Web3 and DeFi applications.

By integrating the custody of Radix (XRD) within Copper’s platform, this partnership “offers a secure and seamless experience for managing digital assets.”

While Radix provides the tools and technology needed for the everyday user to experience Web3 in a safe and easy way, institutional investors must “adhere to complex requirements in comparison to what an everyday user might need from the Radix Wallet.”

Copper’s custody solution plays “a pivotal role by enhancing accessibility for institutional investors to the Radix network, and its ecosystem to a wider base of institutional clientele, allowing clients to safely manage and custody their assets directly through the Copper Platform.”

Dmitry Tokarev, CEO at Copper.co commented:

“Through this partnership, Copper will be offering secure custody furthering institutional adoption and connectivity when it comes to discovering networks like Radix.”

As noted in the update, Radix, a decentralized network that aims “to provide a radically better user and developer experience for Web3 and DeFi applications.”

Radix is said to be “the only full-stack, Layer 1 smart contract platform that offers a radically better experience both for users and developers. With Radix, users can confidently use Web3 and DeFi to manage their assets and identities.”

For developers, Scrypto and Radix Engine “provide a powerful and secure asset-oriented programming paradigm that allows builders to intuitively go from idea to production-ready dApps that their users will love.”

Since being founded in 2018, Copper has been “building the standard for institutional digital asset infrastructure with a focus on custody and collateral management.”

Underpinned by technology, Copper has “built a comprehensive and secure suite of products and services required to safely custody and trade digital assets.”

At the core of Copper’s infrastructure is ClearLoop, which “enables clients to manage collateral and settle trades in near real time across multiple exchanges, while mitigating counterparty risk and increasing capital efficiency.”
