Fourthline, Europe’s identity services provider, has been selected by crcle as their Identity Verification Partner. As the “verified” social network, crcle is transforming how Gen-Z connects. Fourthline, as one of the identity service providers operating in Europe, was crcle’s preferred option as it could provide the level of technical expertise needed for their social network built with user privacy in mind. On the platform, every user is said to be verified in order to ensure authenticity.
Finn Lydiard-Wilson, crcle’s founder and Chief Executive Officer said that they spoke with several verification providers, but Fourthline’s precision, security standards, and focus on “user experience immediately stood out.”
As they’re building the world’s verified social network, “trust is everything and that starts with verification that’s seamless, secure, and globally scalable.”
They added that working cooperatively with Fourthline ensures “every account on crcle is real, verified, and protected from day one,”
crcle is presently said to be finalising its pre-seed funding that will be used to scale verification and expand its reach in the United Kingdom as well as various other jurisdictions.
Krik Gunning, Fourthline’s co-founder and CEO said that it has now become clear that in the GenAI era, identity verification needs to be “at the forefront of social media.”
Gunning added that consumers increasingly want to connect with other people and not with fake accounts, and they’re eager to serve their role in the creation of a standard “for trust and safety in the social space.” They also mentioned that by leveraging AI-enabled identity verification tech, they’re able to provide “a layer of trust that you’re connecting with an actual human being,”
Fourthline’s digital identity tech combines layers of verification to ensure accuracy. These now reportedly include “document authenticity checks and biometric facial recognition.”
At the core of this process is Fourthline’s AI tech stack, which supports smart automation. By leveraging machine learning models, the system improves its fraud detection capabilities, “reduces manual intervention, and minimizes the risk of human error, delivering faster, more reliable verifications.”
