Affirm (NASDAQ:AFRM), Shopify (NASDAQ:SHOP), Ripple, and Visa (NYSE:V) were among the companies announcing product features and partnerships this week.

Affirm, Shopify announce Aussie installment feature

Shop Pay Installments lets eligible shoppers split their purchases into fortnightly or monthly payments. Approved consumers can choose from interest-free or interest-bearing payment plans and see the exact amount they pay before committing.

Affirm underwrites every transaction individually, making a real-time credit decision and only approving shoppers after an assessment of their ability to repay.

Ripple launches Delta One within Ripple Prime

It allows traders to execute total return swaps across U.S.-listed equities, indices, and digital assets.

payabl., Visa improve real-time dispute management capability

payabl. will offer Visa’s Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR) services, enabling merchants to resolve disputes automatically at the pre-dispute stage and help prevent costly chargebacks before they happen. The solution also helps enhance the customer experience by enabling merchants to issue refunds virtually.

Razorpay debuts Vulcan, an AI payments foundation

Vulcan’s routing system scores every possible route in real-time and dynamically sends the payment down the path most likely to succeed. Other features include network-level fraud protection, smart offer targeting, and checkout personalization.

Terrapay, Deutsche Bank beef up cross-border payments infrastructure

TerraPay gains access to the bank’s correspondent banking network, payments capabilities and foreign exchange services, strengthening its settlement capabilities and cross-border transactions.
