Arcus has become the latest venue supporting spot trading of Stock Tokens inside Robinhood Wallet, after the decentralized exchange connected its trading API to the self-custodial app.
Eligible users in permitted jurisdictions can now have swaps routed through Arcus alongside other liquidity sources already available in the wallet, giving them another path to more than 190 of the tokens.
The exchange, developed by the team that previously built dYdX and backed by an investment from Robinhood Crypto, went live exclusively on Robinhood Chain on July 1, 2026.
At launch it listed more than 90 Stock Tokens; that catalog has since grown past 190.
In the months since, Arcus has reported cumulative volume above $5 billion across spot and perpetual markets, more than 15,000 unique traders, a peak day exceeding $500 million, and total value locked above $28 million.
Perpetual markets covering equities, crypto, commodities, and indices remain in beta, with a waitlist of more than 100,000 traders.
The wallet integration is meant to extend that activity rather than replace direct trading on Arcus.
Robinhood Wallet already lets eligible users hold and move Stock Tokens while remaining in control of their keys and connecting to a wider set of decentralized applications.
Routing a swap through Arcus can also qualify the user for boosted points under a live incentive program, relative to comparable spot trades placed directly on the exchange.
Limit orders on Stock Tokens are expected to be reachable as well, through Arcus inside the wallet’s dapp browser.
Pricing on Arcus relies on a request-for-quote design rather than a single automated pool.
Professional market makers compete to quote each swap, a structure the project says is intended to produce tighter spreads and deeper liquidity for tokens whose reference prices are set in traditional markets that close on a fixed schedule.
Earnings releases, economic data, and geopolitical developments can move those prices outside ordinary equity hours; the on-chain markets are built to stay open continuously.
Eddie Zhang, founder and chief executive of Arcus, has framed the early volumes as evidence that traders want markets that stay global and always available, and has described the wallet link as a way to widen that access.
Johann Kerbrat, Robinhood’s senior vice president and general manager of crypto and international, has said Robinhood Chain was built to advance on-chain real-world-asset adoption and that venues such as Arcus help by supplying liquidity and execution infrastructure inside the wallet.
Stock Tokens themselves are tokenized debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited.
They are designed to deliver economic exposure to an underlying equity or related instrument through a contractual claim, not legal or beneficial ownership of the underlying security.
They are not registered under US securities laws and are not offered to US persons; offers are also restricted in Canada, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions.
Arcus is not a regulated financial services provider and is unavailable in those same restricted regions.
Trading the tokens, other crypto assets, or perpetual contracts carries the risk of loss, especially with leverage.
The addition of Arcus as a routing option therefore expands execution choices inside Robinhood Wallet for users who are already allowed to use the products, while leaving the geographic and regulatory limits unchanged. Spot trading remains open on Arcus for eligible users, and the wallet can be downloaded separately for those who meet the access rules.
