On Wednesday, Crowdcube announced it was dubbed 2016 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the London and South regions. The equity crowdfunding team took to the portal’s social media pages and revealed the exciting news.

Ernest and Young revealed that 139 companies led by entrepreneurial business leaders were selected for this year’s finalists. The company reported that the companies together employed over 39,000 people and generating a combined revenue more than £5.75 billion and considered to be making a substantial and significant impact on the growth and well-being of the UK economy.
