BrewDog and their Equity for Punks US campaign has topped $1 million in indications of interest in the first three days of going live on BankRoll. This is according to an email just sent out by the BrewDog team. According to the update;
On Thursday last week we launched Equity for Punks USA, giving people in America – and around the world – a chance to own part of BrewDog USA and join our growing Equity Punk community. The response was truly overwhelming.
Equity for Punks USA has hit the $1M milestone within the first three days.
This unprecedented response to our first crowdfunding round in the States shows the demand for our beer in America, and sets us up with a community of like-minded individuals ready and waiting to help us make our US business an explosive success.
The offer is a several month project. Under Reg A+, an issuer may raise up to $50 million from both accredited and non-accredit investors. Already over 1200 individuals have signed up to potentially help finance BrewDog’s USA expansion. BrewDog is currently building a sophisticated brewery operation near Columbus, Ohio. Completion is expected this coming November.
BrewDog is noted for their unique style of promotion so expect some surprises along the way.
