Crowd Dialog Europe – Athens

In partnership with the EU Commission and the National Bank of Greece the city of Athens will be the 2017 hosting city to gather THE European Crowd experts. All driven by a common goal: enabling the crowd for a greater good. Stakeholder from all 28 European member states represented by dedicated Country Patrons will gather to discuss diverse scenarios of crowd-disruption from the fields of practitioners, academia and politics.

Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give inspiring 15-minute talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects that reflect crowd-based disruption, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter.

Crowd Dialog Europe Concept

Crowd Dialog Europe is an unique and independently organized event in partnership with the EU Commission and national Top partners. The agenda setup is designed as a yearly full-day event, co-curated by most of the existing European national CrowdSourcing and CrowdFunding associations.

Target Group and Delegates

With an audience of about 400 delegates and stakeholder from all 28 European member states the main goal is to gather top experts from the fields of practitioners, academia and politics to foster learning, inspiration and wonder –and provoke conversations that matter. Dedicated Country Patrons will form country delegations to represent a unique group with state-of-the-art network.

Hosting country / city

Yearly changing hosting countries underline the European Union´s motto „united in diversity“ and points the
spotlight to feature national Crowd-X engagement and activities. After Helsinki, Finland and Graz, Austria the Crowd Dialog Europe 2017 plans to feature Athens, Greece as the capital of the European Crowd -X movement.
Besides Top Partners like the National Bank of Greece, the city of Athens and the national trade association CrowdDialog always promote s a regional partner. In Finland this partner has been Digile and in Austria 1000×1000. The role of the regional partner is to act as a local hub for coordination and network to leverage national networks and contacts. Crowd Dialog Europe´s goal is to promote awareness for crowd-related disruption in Sourcing, Funding and Innovation and united knowledge on a European level.

Crowd Dialog Europe´s goal is to bring together bright minds to give inspiring talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects that reflect crowd-based disruption. All delegates are gathered to learn how to leverage the crowd to help existing businesses grow smarter and prosper faster. Country Patrons speakers and experts will network with people as committed as themselves, as passionate, as driven, but in fields that some delegates had little exposure to till now.
