Previously, private securities offerings were only available to the very wealthy or institutions.
While initially viewed as a funding path for smaller, early-stage firms, real estate entrepreneurs quickly realized the opportunity that investment crowdfunding could provide.
Today, multiple platforms allow smaller investors to access debt and equity securities offerings for property developments. Typically, investing in a real estate offering entails less risk in comparison to early stage or startup investments.
