Europe’s Crowdfunding Portals wish for more EU support. In a 40 page long report (PDF) that can be downloaded on the website Crowdfunding framework, crowdfunding representatives and supporters outline what future framework they have in mind.
The EU on the other hand requires the introduction of European Laws guaranteeing financial transparency and controls within crowdfunding, setting quality standards for the numerous platforms and increasing the confidence in the financing method. An informational forum should be put in place advising owners, donors and entrepreneurs on the risks and opportunities. Last but not least the academic research on crowdfunding is on the EU’s wishlist. This research could enable furher investments within the branch.

Crowdfunding-Branche will Unterstützung von der EU Europas Crowdfunding-Portale wünschen sich offenbar mehr Unterstützung von der EU. In einem 40 Seiten starken Papier (PDF-Datei), das auf der Website Crowdfundingframework heruntergeladen werden kann, legen Vertreter und Unterstützer der Branche dar, welchen Rahmen sie sich für die Schwarmfinanzierung künftig vorstellen. Von Seiten der EU wird die Einführung europaweiter Gesetze gefordert, die für finanzielle Transparenz und Kontrolle in dem Bereich sorgen, Qualitätsstandards für die zahlreichen Plattformen setzen und das Vertrauen in die Finanzierungsform stärken könnten. Ebenso solle ein Bildungs-Forum eingerichtet werden, das Anteilsinhaber, Geldgeber und Unternehmer über Risiken und Chancen aufklärt. Nicht zuletzt steht auch die Förderung akademischer Forschung zum Crowdfunding auf der Wunschliste. Diese könne für zusätzliche Innovationen in der Branche sorgen.
