Le crowdfunding, littéralement financement par la foule, ou financement participatif, peut s’avérer être un outil étonnamment puissant pour financer tous types de projets. Il s’agit de présenter son projet au public sur un site spécialisé, et de se montrer assez convaincant pour que le pouvoir cumulatif de petits (ou de plus gros) dons permette de remplir une jauge de financement. C’est le côté mécénat, mais il existe aussi du crowdfunding d’investissement.
