Kickstarted games might not have millions of sales, but it’s perfect for the games that are being made says Artizens dev.
Kickstarter doesn’t look like it’s about to go away any time soon, but despite the millions of dollars collected through the crowdfunding service it’s still fairly niche.
Speaking to NowGamer, Artizens Kickstarter developer Charles Amis claimed that Kickstarter has “already had a huge effect” on the games industry.
“I don’t know if Artizens could really get traction without a platform like this. We’re really thankful to Kickstarter for all that they do to support independent creators like us.
