Equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs recently released on their Facebook page that Seedrs has been named one of the UKs top 250 Businesses by Lord Yound and Sir Terry Leahy as part of the Accelerate 25o program.
Accelerate 2103 was designed to bring together Britain’s best and brightest businesses in recognition of their importance to the UK’s economic renaissance. It is the belief of the organizers that Britain’s future prosperity is tied to the success of high potential, high growth companies.
In the missive forwarded to Carlos Silva, President and COO of Seedrs, the letter stated;
This group – the Accelerate 250 – are the UKs so called “vital six per cent”, the businesses that create more than half of the nation’s new jobs by disrupting industries and creating new markets.
Leading business figures and organisations have provided their nominations for this exclusive group and we are delighted to inform you that your company has been identified as one of the UK’s top 250 businesses.
The organisers want to fulfill their ambition to make the UK a global center for commercial excellence and to “secure our place in the modern economy”.
The inaugural event will be held in Liverpool on June 27th with over 1000 delegates in attendence.
