GoFundMe CEO Brad Damphousse is in the running for Entrepreneur of 2013 which is sponsored by Entrepreneur Magazine. Damphousse is one of 5 finalists up for the award in the “Established” entrepreneur category. Winners will be featured in the forthcoming January edition of the magazine and honored at the 2014 Growth Conference to be held in New Orleans.

GoFundMe considers itself the world’s #1 crowdfunding site for personal causes. Launched in May of 2010 in San Diego, California, the crowdfunding platform has been widely featured in the media as prominent resource in aiding friends who need hope or those in need during challenging times.
