Kingonomics set to take place  next week in Washington DC will bring together big names in innovation, entrepreneurship and investment.  Crowdfunding site SterlingFunder was founded on the vision that we can shift investment power from Wall Street to Main Street.

Lilenfeld will join Shark Tank star and successful entrepreneur Mark Cuban on a panel discussing investing in emerging markets during theKingonomics Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Investment Conference.

The Kingonomics Conference seeks to financially embolden all communities through entrepreneurship, as inspired by the philosophies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This idea mirrors SterlingFunder’s commitment to empowering a larger percentage of the population to participate in equity and debt crowdfunding.

Other panelists include Dr. Ayman El Tarabishy, research professor at George Washington University and executive director at the International Council of Small Businesses, and Henry Turner, strategic growth advisor at the Maryland Small Business and Technology Development Center.

“It’s an honor to have the opportunity to speak on a panel with such influential names in the small business and entrepreneurship sector,” Lilenfeld said.
