Crowdcube Simultaneously Announces Banner Week of Funding.

Sustainable housing developer, Hab Housing has surpassed Crowdcube’s equity crowdfunding record by raising over £1.5 Million to date.  The equity offering is still open to investors due to the popularity of the investment.  The company had originally targeted a raise of £1 Million for 13.33% equity but was over-subscribed.  552 investors have participated in his offering with over 20% equity purchased.  The funding round is scheduled to close on September 29th.

Hab HousingHab Housing was founded by Kevin McCloud – a writer, designer and broadcaster.  “Hab” stands for “Happiness Architecture Beauty”.  Effectively the growing business works with “brilliant” architects and landscapers to create joyful homes and outdoor spaces.  The firm expects to sell their first houses this Fall as part of their Applewood project in Stroud, Glos.

Crowdcube simultaneously announced they had five pitches fully funded in the past five days.  The total amount raised stood at £397,280.  The five funded companies included:5 Pitches Funded in Past 5 Days Crowdcube

Crowdcube has raised well over £12 Million since the company was founded.
