Founded in 2010 by Monique Coleman, the Gimme Mo Foundation was started to address issues facing young people globally. In support of the foundation Monique has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Prizeo
. It has been 5 years since High School Musical ended and now they are organizing an HSM Reunion Party. Supporters of the crowdfunding campaign could win a trip to LA to participate in the homecoming bash.
Since 2010, the Gimme Mo Foundation
has produced two seasons of a philanthropic youth talk show addressing issues such as bullying, self esteem and youth homelessness. They have also initiated and funded a global tour to 24 countries on behalf of the United Nations for the International Year of Youth. The proceeds from this Prizeo campaign will be invested in programs that empower youth and used to create positive content that addresses issues such as teen suicide, cyber security, and unemployment.
“The proceeds from this Prizeo campaign will allow Gimme Mo’ to continue to provide vital information and strategies for community organizing and volunteering, and amplify the voice of those leaders who are already making a difference,” Monique says. “I am deeply humbled that my fellow HSM mates want to help me. I’m proud of our movies and the wonderful people they’ve all become, and I’m really excited about all the amazing things we’re going to do in the future. Go Wildcats!”
