Cloudpage Offers Competition for Start-up Stories (Updated)

Start Up Story 2013

The Application Deadline has now been extended to December 31st, 2013

Every start-up has a story about how the idea came about, the challenges, the highs and the lows associated with the struggle of starting a business.  Now online social publishing platform Cloudpage has created a story telling competition which will be reviewed by a panel of “awesome” judges with some pretty incredible prizes available for the winners.

Start-Up Story 2013 is accepting applications up to November 30, 2013 with finalists being announced later this December.  The awards will be distributed sometime this coming January.

Companies participating in the competition will be using the Cloudpage platform to create their web page and share their story.  Startups may use images, videos, art or just type it up and post the prose regarding your ventures odyssey.

Startup story JudgesJudges will be reviewing story, content, page design, social shares and page views as part of the criteria in selecting winners. You do have to limit the amount of text to about 1000 words (which is consumable in about 3 minutes…).  Entrants are expected to promote their cloudpage which is probably not such a bad way to market their own brand.

Some of the possible prizes include fee free crowdfunding on Crowdcube; £5000 in services from Wedlake Bell law firm; and a free office accommodation at Impact Hub Westminister.

So if you are interested, just head over to set up your very own cloudpage today.
