Watch: Former WWE Wrestlers Respond To Angry Indiegogo Backers

Scott Hall and Aurelian Smith, Jr. are both former pro wrestlers, better known by the names Razor Ramon and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Both have fallen on hard times after long careers in pro wrestling. Hall and Roberts alike have succumbed to the ravages wrestling tends to exact on the human body. Roberts was in need of shoulder surgery and Hall needed a hip replacement. Both had also been addicts and both took advantage of a WWE program that paid for drug and alcohol counseling for all former WWE wrestlers.

Enter another former wrestler by the name of Diamond Dallas Page, or DDP, to help.

DDP has found success after wrestling with his own brand of Yoga called, appropriately, DDP Yoga. DDP turned both to Indiegogo to ask fans to donate money to their causes in exchange for perks like signatures and phone calls. DDP then relocated Roberts and Hall to what he calls his “Accountability House” in Atlanta and used his brand of yoga to rehab both men back to health. The cash would go toward helping to pay for expensive surgeries.

So far it seems the program has done wonders for both, but there is a problem.

The problem lies in providing perks to over 4,000 people that contributed to the two Indiegogo campaigns for Hall and Smith, respectively. Delivery of perks was promised for the summer of this year but the team is still working toward fulfilling all promised rewards. See what DDP and Scott Hall had to say about the fulfillment process below…
