James Caan runs a regular series on CNBC called the Business Class where he interviews entrepreneurs. Caan is a noted UK entrepreneur himself. He became very successful in the recruitment industry, which included the global companies Alexander Mann and Humana International. In 2004 he founded private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw, which now has a portfolio of over 30 companies. Caan also is a “Dragon” on the hit BBC show Dragons’ Den, where he has invested over £1m across 14 companies.
In the video below, Darren Westlake and Luke Lang are interviewed as part of Caan’s show the Business Class. It is notable that Lang talks about how a growing number of investors are repeat investors as they build a diversified portfolio to spread the risk of investing in startups.
