The below presentation was created by the Entrepreneurship Forum in Ireland, an organization that is determined to strengthen the startup community in their country. Â They believe that while boosting the startup culture is facilitated by the government the initiative must be led by private business leaders.
Change starts with culture. Â Building an environment conducive to innovative new companies requires more than just access to capital – but being able to finance a business is key to success. Â According to the presentation the majority of funding for small businesses is the boot-strap / self-funding route. Â Crowdfunding can fix this.
