Just in time for Valentines Day, the worlds first monument to love is crowdfunding now on Indiegogo. Having raised over $20,000 in the first few days of their fixed funding campaign the global team wants to hit a minimum target of $175,000 to build their unique structure. The design has been created by a group of architects in Europe and the US. The campaign stands at over $42,000 raised today. For certain reward levels, backers receive their very own “Love cube” inscribed with your personal message. Since the number of rewards will not be known until the last day of crowdfunding (day after Valentines – February 15, 2014), the size and final structure has not been determined. Even the location is up for grabs as backers may vote for the structures final destination. So far the following countries are on the list for possible selection: USA, China, Canada, UK, Argentina, Australia, Norway, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Netherlands, Lebanon, 
Greece, Brazil, Ireland, Singapore, India, Denmark, Belgium! Supporters from over 20 countries from around the world have already committed to this campaign.
The Lovemark is a project for a monument for Love, not wars and losses. The global team behind the Lovemark is a diverse group of people coming from different countries, representing different cultures and professional backgrounds, speaking 12 different languages. They have all come together – architects, creative designers, volunteers and ambassadors – and joined forces to give people a chance to leave their “Lovemark” on history.
If you are looking for a unique gift for Valentines day this may be the one for you. Flowers and chocolates last days. This is a monument in perpetuity. Rewards for your very own special cube start at $39 which is pretty 
reasonable. Of course the final location and structure will be determined at a later date and I would expect the completion is some years out. You will receive your very own replica cube once the entire project is completed. Definitely a different way to express your love this Valentines day.
