Crowdcube is one of a handful of global leaders in the burgeoning equity crowdfunding movement. The UK-based platform has released a video featuring early investors in companies that launched and executed successful raises on the Crowdcube platform. The video provides an interesting look at some of the processes that go into a successful raise. Of particular note is the open, transparent interaction between “sophisticated” and “unsophisticated” investors via Crowdcube’s intrinsic social features and functionality. There is also a pretty strong nod to the triple bottom line and concerns outside of pure ROI for investors.
