The campaign funded the Virtuix Omni, an immersive treadmill-like device for gamers. According to a recent backer update, shipping has begun for Kickstarter backers.

In what may be an increasing trend as we move through 2014 and toward the implementation of popular equity crowdfunding, Virtuix has now launched a campaign on SeedInvest seeking $2.5 million in funding from accredited investors under Rule 506(c). Title II of the JOBS Act gave rise to 506(c) as a way for issuers to generally solicit their private offerings.
To date, the campaign has raised $375,000 in funding.
