Brief: Today Indiegogo is Contributing $1 for Every $25 for International Women’s Day

Global crowdfunding platform Indiegogo has been highlighting incredible crowdfunding campaigns that empower women all week long in recognition of International Women’s Day today (March 8, 2014). So now is your chance to contribute and add a bit more to your campaign of choice. Indiegogo has created a special page for these many and diverse projects. Check them out and give $25 to get the $1 match from Indiegogo.

The first IWD was held in 1911 and is now celebrated in over 100 countries.

Indiegogo notes that 47% of their crowdfunding campaigns that reach their funding goal are organized by women. Total raised to date stands at $1.27 million for 484 campaigns.
