Stella English, presenter of CrowdBoxTV, commented on this week’s crowdfunding initiatives: “This week showcases fresh and dynamic projects from all over the world. We’ll be featuring ingenious designs in areas from fashion to photography to road safety, making this week’s hand-picked selection especially exciting.”

The project highlights from this week’s episode include:

Clapstr, crowdfunding through Indiegogo, is a user-controlled online music platform that makes enjoying music social; the platform links songs to emotions, events, activities and keywords. Clapstr enables users to search for songs that fit their current emotion. The team is looking to raise $25,000 to fund the development of mobile apps and improve efficiency and overall stability.

The Rufus Cuff is an advanced wearable device that totally reimagines the classic wristwatch to create a communication device that supports WiFi, Bluetooth, music, messaging, voice calls, video calls, complex apps and more. Fundraising though Indiegogo, the team behind the Rufus Cuff have developed a slick, smart device with a 3” full-colour screen that can be worn on the wrist. The team has a crowdfunding target of $200,000, which they’ll use to develop software, complete prototype testing, fund production and assembly and secure worldwide certification.

LUVV is a project created with the extreme sports fan firmly in mind. It’s the first plug and play camera stabiliser for GoPro and smartphones. LUVV enables you to shoot shake-free film whilst in motion, thanks to a full three-axis stabilization, which allows for flowing, steady footage by separating the motion of your hand from that of the camera. The team has a goal of $50,000 through Indiegogo to go towards developing, producing and improving their design.
