Fundrise: Real Estate Origination Numbers (Infographic)

fundriseThe team at real estate investment crowdfunding platform Fundrise has put together an infograpic highlighting some interesting numbers they are seeing through their platform.

The developers referenced below all have networks on Fundrise and many have raised capital via the Fundrise platform.

Fundrise points out that one of the benefits of real estate crowdfunding is the ability to connect high quality investors with high quality “sponsors” from around the country.  Around the globe for that matter…  As it stands today, Fundrise has connected with developers in over 40 states and the top 10 metropolitan markets.  When they drilled down they were impressed to discover the statistics on the 373 sponsors currently registered on the Fundrise platform represent more than $54 billion in assets under management. That’s a lot.  These assets represent 1.24 billion square feet of developed property or almost twice the size of Manhattan.

Fundrise intends on expanding their network across the nation to all of the top markets. It would appear they are off to a pretty good start.
